Newcastle Days Kick-Off Event
Newcastle Days kicks off Friday, September 9th from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm.
The purpose of the Kick-Off Event is to provide special attention and public draw to downtown businesses, and provide an opportunity for home businesses to have a booth to get exposure.
Any Newcastle business that is willing to offer specials will be able to participate in the Kick-Off Event. Businesses participating will also gain marketing through the Newcastle Days Kick-Off Event promotions.
To help with bringing people into Newcastle’s downtown we will be holding a drawing with prizes for anyone (over 18) who enters into the businesses and visits the booths, but only for businesses willing to offer specials will have tickets and a drawing submittal box for the drawing. The prize drawings will occur at 7:30 pm at Sweet Decadence (NEED TO BE PRESENT TO WIN).
Providing music for the Kick-Off event will be Grant Stott. Grant Stott will be performing from kickoff until around 6pm. Scott is a season perfromer who has played with Beach Boy and others.
Businesses that would like a sidewalk location to set up their own booths will need to fill out a General Vendor Application and pay the $25 fee for participating by August 1, 2011. You can find the General Vendor Application here.
